This came out so so beautiful! I remember seeing it in an early sketch and seeing it finished is just wonderful. I love your use of colour and I really like the way you portrayed Arthur & Merlin. Kudos!

Beautiful! I love contrast of the rich colors and the soft shades of snow, and the perspective is very interesting. The owl is particularly pretty and I look forward to reading what your art inspired.

Oh my god, is it silly that I'm in love with Merlin's little feet?? ♥! God, all the details in this piece are just delicious. I love the shadows in the snow, and the owl's feathers! I love that you did Merlin's hair in shades of blue - it didn't immediately stand out to me as having color, but rather gave a sense of light, which I thought was really cool. And his glove! And that Merlin and Arthur's cloaks are similar but not exactly the same! The suggestion of crossed straps on Arthur and one cross-body strap on Merlin! I want to see an entire story book filled with these illustrations. Absolutely gorgeous.

I am completely blown away by your talent. This is such an exquisite piece, it was an honor to write anything to complement it. The colors are gorgeous; I love in particular how you've captured all the tiny shifts in the snow itself. This has such a quiet quality to it, as if they really are standing in the woods far away from everywhere -- it's a little bit magical just for that. I could stare at this all day. Thank you so much for sharing it. ♥

This is lovely. The perspective is interesting and I love the color palette, The shadows in the snow are really well done and there's a real sense of movement in the owl and Merlin's raised arm.

This is fabulous! The composition as a whole is really great. I love the perspective, the owl, the colors, their cloaks, Merlin's glove.. Awesome! :)
